Operation Round Up, SVEC’s charitable-giving program, ended 2023 by supporting 10 area nonprofits in its third and final grant cycle.
A grant selection committee awarded $16,000 overall to the recipients, as listed below. Grant funding builds as co-op members voluntarily round up their electric bills each month, supplemented by a corporate contribution from SVEC’sboard of directors.
More than $60,000 was awarded across the three giving cycles in 2023. Since Operation Round Up began in 2018, nearly $250,000 in grants have been distributed.
